October’s Very Own Drake made a special announcement on his birthday (October 24) via Twitter.
OVO Sound, his official record label in conjunction with Republic Records, and the Toronto rapper took to social media to announce that his forthcoming project Certified Lover Boy is set to debut next January.
The mysterious teaser video pays homage to some of his most iconic sets to date, referencing So Far Gone, Take Care, Nothing Was The Same and his latest, Dark Lane Tapes. The teaser video begins with a young boy looking up to the sky under a spotlight as leaves fall from the sky, resembling his first mixtape cover art, So Far Gone.
