As they get ready to release their next single—which doesn’t yet have a release date or title that’s been made public, but which is coming at some point in August—Blackpink’s latest release reaches a milestone in one of the largest music markets in the world worth that’s worthy of noting.
The quartet’s single “How You Like That” falls to No. 100 on this week’s songs chart in the U.K., and while that isn’t a very impressive placement (the track is currently in last place), by earning one more stay on the list, the catchy cut has made history.
“How You Like That” has now spent five weeks on the U.K. singles chart, which stands as one of the longest runs among all songs by South Korean girl groups. The tune is now tied with another as the third-longest-charting track by an all-female vocal band from the Asian nation in U.K. history.
