Atlantis Paradise Island Sets Reopening Date – Forbes
The megaresort enlists the help of Cleveland Clinic to promise a ‘clean and safe’ environment for visitors in a phased re-opening
If you haven’t finalized your summer vacation plans, the Nassau-based Atlantis resort is giving you another option to consider. The facility has announced that it will re-open its doors July 7, one week after the Bahamas officially opens for travel, which comes roughly four months after the island nation recorded its first case of COVID-19.
The re-opening will be a phased approach starting with two of the property’s resorts—the Royal, East and West and the Harborside. The Cove will open a week later on July 14 as part of the strategy.
Most of Atlantis’ popular amenities will be open, including the Atlantis Casino, 20 indoor and outdoor dining locations, beaches, pools, non-motorized sports, golf, tennis, fitness center, Mandara Spa, Aquaventure slides, Dolphin Cay, The Dig, Marina, Ocean Golf Course and other offerings. Group and meeting opportunities, including weddings and other events, will also be available to guests. For a full list of available resort amenities and more
