LoveCast is hosting a ‘Date with Pride’ edition of its virtual dating show – Technical.ly DC
CarpeDM is back with a special edition of its virtual dating show. The company is teaming up with the Capital Pride Alliance to bring a “Date with Pride” edition of LoveCast, its online dating experience.
Launched in 2018, CarpeDM is the developer of a dating app that requires people who match to indulge in a five- to 10-minute video chat before continuing their relationship via text. District IRL is a digital media and marketing company connecting people through in-person and virtual experiences. The pair launched LoveCast back in March when shelter-in-place orders went into effect because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
LoveCast has selected eight queer singles to be a part of the cast for the fourth episode of the show. After a public vote, four couples were selected for their first virtual video dates that took place on June 15. These dates will be broadcasted on June 18 at 8 p.m. in celebration of Pride Month.
