
Coronavirus: Wittenberg to offer single room for price of double – Dayton Daily News

Wittenberg University will offer residence hall students the option to request a single room for the price of a double room for the 2020-21 academic year, according to the school’s website.
“The health and safety of our students has been at the center of every decision we have made as an institution in response to the pandemic,” Casey Gill, Vice President for Student Development and Dean of Students said. “We believe that in offering this opportunity and moving toward a lower density residential model, we can reassure our students and their families that the well-being of their students is foremost in our minds.”

The option is available due to the ongoing concerns of the coronavirus and the challenge it presents in terms of living in shared spaces, the website said.
Instructions on how to complete an updated housing survey for incoming students is now available through the admission student portal.
